We are a small independent games company based in the Netherlands. Run by two passionate game developers with both 20+ years of game dev experience.

History

CodeMonks (2012-2014)

We started our game-dev-work-for-hire company CodeMonks late 2012. Our primary focus was game development using the Unity game engine. We supported several companies in their work. From creating full games from scratch for their customers, to developing components to fit in their existing projects.

IgnisVR (2014-2017)

When virtual reality was reborn when the Oculus Rift became available, we shifted our focus to VR and founded IgnisVR. IgnisVR was: "a virtual reality company in The Netherlands. Founded by two virtual reality enthousiasts in an attempt to serve VR content to the world by providing awesome virtual reality experiences for the Oculus Rift". It was still work-for-hire, but VR-only and we created some interesting prototypes while experimenting with this new medium. You might know us from Virtual Space Walk or Arachnophobia.

Hypersome Games (2017-today)

Eliminating the limiter on our creativity throttle. Fully independent with no more work-for-hire. Defining our own routes to travel. With Hypersome Games we just want to create awesome ... I mean more than awesome ... like ... 'hypersome' games!
